Yep, I'm technically ~back~ on scratch. As you've seen, I'm not nearly as active as I used to be. This is for a couple of reasons: -School -Scratch drama. Not even drama I'm involved in, because as far as I know, there wasn't any drama around me. But drama all over scratch. And frankly, I'm still tired of it, but I'm still here. Now enough of my whining, basically the point is: I'm back. ALSO: IN CASE YOU DIDN'T KNOW: I'm all for recoloring. As long as you give credit to the original artist and respect their wishes if they ask you not to recolor, (chances are they have a good reason for it) then as far as I'm concerned it's all well and good. The only times I will ask for you not to recolor something of mine is if it's a MAP that is still in progress, because I get confused over whose remix is for the MAP and whose remix is for their own use. However, once the MAP is finished, you're free to remix. The other occasion is if it's a collab with another user who asks you not to recolor. Then it's their word, not mine. Other than that, you're free to recolor anything I make. Even if I ask you not to, if you really want to recolor something, ask me personally and I'll either let you or explain why I really would rather you didn't. I think scratch is supposed to be about creativity, and it makes me pretty fed up when I see people on either side of the recoloring issue fight and create drama. And if I give a reason for not recoloring something, if you think the need has arisen, go ahead and talk with me about it! Maybe I gave a stupid reason, or my opinion has since changed. If you downright steal my work (art, characters, animations, etc.) I will confront you if you claim said work as your own. However, if you do things like remix a project without actually adding anything I won't really care since you're not doing any harm. As long as you don't say it's your work when it isn't, I honestly couldn't care less, because it's just not that big of a deal to me. (And yes, you can recolor this project too!)
