On each level, look for the lost item that you are told to find and click on it. Once you click on that item, you will proceed to the following level.
By the way, I promise the cowbell is there, it's just very hard to find.If you're stumped, you can ask for a hint in the comments. You can also ask for a hint for the other levels.
