FR: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/132948199 EN: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/142785109/ This project has four different backdrops, one for each season of the year. It is up to you to figure out what happens during each season. Each season/backdrop should thus include a short story that is appropriate to the season. There are a few restrictions you must take into account before creating your stories. Step 1. Modelling Before getting started, organize your thoughts and ideas on a sheet of paper or in a Google doc. Write the different components (sprites, coding blocks, algorithms, dialogues, etc) you will need for each season/story. Make sure you take the restrictions into account when you are writing these stories. Step 2. Restrictions Spring: In the spring, flowers bloom. Include to your story at least one flower that blooms progressively (in other words, the flower should not just appear out of thin air; it should grow under our eyes from seed to fully-bloomed flower). Summer: Add at least two characters that will interact with Scratch and Vibot. Autumn: Add tree leaves that fall to the ground continuously. Winter: Because it’s winter, you must add snowflakes that will fall to the ground continuously. Also, Scratch and Vibot want to build a snowman. Make sure that building the snowman is a process (in other words, the snowman should not just appear out of thin air). To make your stories realistic, make sure that your characters are dressed according to each season. Step 3. Insert transitions For each season, there is a sprite with the name of the season written in bright letters. Use the code blocks that will allow the name of the season to appear when the backdrop changes to that particular season. Although a visual effect has been added to the names of the seasons, you can get creative with them and add effects of your own choosing. Step 4. Be creative! Despite the restrictions, you may do anything you want for each season. For example, one season could be a short game, while another could be a story of any kind.
