-ɪɴsᴛʀᴜᴄᴛɪᴏɴs- Press space or the arrow keys to see both pieces and their accompanying pencil sketches. Fullscreen, please. The music is pretty quiet, so you may want to turn up your volume a bit. If you can't see anything, try pressing b. Why did Scratch put a line through my art?? ;w; Ack, I butchered the lighting on that one anyway. -ɪɴғᴏ- ♣ 1st and 2nd full body cat that I've drawn digitally (Apologies for my lack of experience, I'm still in the learning curve for both cats and digital art.) ♣ Program: FireAlpaca ♣ Brushes used: pen, watercolour, blur, downloaded texture brush, downloaded circle scatter brush, downloaded grass brush ♣ Determination to get this beauty: 100% ♣ Time estimate: 5 hours for the first one, 7 hours for the second one, and at an hour for the bio (I'm slow, okay?) -ʙɪᴏ- I've never made one of these before, so please forgive me if I did it wrong. ɴᴀᴍᴇ- Cassiopeia (Cassiopeia is a constellation.) ɴɪᴄᴋɴᴀᴍᴇ- Cassi ɢᴇɴᴅᴇʀ- female ᴀɢᴇ- somewhere around 317 in human years, she's lost track a few times. Cassi is a shooting star, so she's actually pretty young - she's got a couple thousand more years to go. ʟɪᴋᴇs- Quality time spent with friends, marshmallows, s'mores, astronomy, clear skies, snow, Christmas ᴅɪsʟɪᴋᴇs- being inside for too long, being alone for too long, the afternoon ғᴇᴀʀs- Outliving her friends and being all alone for thousands of years, getting lost and never being able to find her way back to her friends ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ- INFJ-T (An ambivert, though, not an introvert.) People are the most important thing in the universe to Cassi. While she is shy around those she doesn't know and quiet even around those she does, she values time spent with friends very highly and would do anything for someone she cares about. Cassi often worries about the future, knowing that she will outlive all of her friends, but she tries to live in the moment and enjoy every second of it. Cassi is very creative and very optimistic. She loves helping others and does her best to make the universe a better place. ʙᴀᴄᴋsᴛᴏʀʏ- Cassi is a shooting star. (Yes, I know they're actually meteorites and not cats, so please forgive me if you're a fan of astronomy.) She was born from a wish and has no family. She's been roaming around the galaxy for a few hundred years, looking for the person who made that wish, or really anyone. Recently she did find someone. Legend has it that shooting stars are born so that they may fulfill the wish from which they were born. Except Cassi got lost. Poor Cassi. But she did find the great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great(etc.)-grandson, Leo, of the person who made her wish on the planet Zualia. Cassi suspects that the person whose wish she was supposed to fulfill was wishing for friends, because that's her greatest desire too. She feels really bad about getting lost, but she's going to try to make up to their great-great(let's just skip it this time)-grandson, Leo. She'll be his friend for as long as she can be, and after he's gone ... she really doesn't know. Cassi doesn't want to think about that, but she can't help worrying. sʜᴏʀᴛ sᴛᴏʀʏ- Because you haven't already read enough. ;) Here you go: Cassi finished her last bite of s’more, enjoying one last taste of warm marshmallow goo mixed with chocolate. All that remained of the campfire that had been blazing an hour ago was glowing embers emitting a faint heat. All was dark, and Cassi lay down on the blanket she had brought, staring off across the grassy field to the woods beyond. A small flicker of light caught her attention. It was gone as soon as it had come. Then there was another flicker, perhaps twenty feet from the first. Cassi blinked. “What was that?” She asked Leo, who was sitting beside her. “There was a flicker of light over there, just a second ago.” Leo laughed. “That was a firefly.” “A firefly?” Leo nodded. “They’re little insects that light up. Haven’t you seen a firefly before?” “No, never….” Cassi trailed off. Then she whispered “They’re beautiful.” “They can’t be as beautiful as a star’s birth, or the view from a mountain where you can see for miles. You’ve seen more of the universe than I ever will, Cassi. What’s so special about a firefly?” Cassi smiled, tears in her eyes. “I’ve seen many things, yes, but I was always just a stranger passing through. Now I’m here, a planet I can call home, and I’m here with you.” -ᴄʀᴇᴅɪᴛs- All art is 100% by me, . The character belongs to .
