Okay. So before I start, I want you to remember that this is MY opinion. I am entitled to it, and if you would like to argue to try to change it, go ahead. Please do not spam or diss me for saying all this. .I hope to change your point of view at least little bit. - - - I love memes. Memes are great. You know why? Memes allow people to take someone's ideas and change them without getting hate. You are free to recolor(something I am slightly in favor of, actually), change the art, change the coding, and most of all, bring people together to learn. That's what Scratch is all about. So what is wrong with a meme that includes slightly more block coding and slightly less frames than an animation meme? It still uses art and creativity. I mean, I understand that it's "not animation" exactly, but still... Scratch is a CODING WEBSITE. It was meant for people to express themselves through block coding and art, and they would learn more about themselves through that experience. So...coding memes are something you can express yourself through block coding AND art, therefore saying making coding memes is representing Scratch, at least partially. I say coding memes are STILL MEMES, and since there is no rule saying that memes have to be this and that, people should be able to create coding memes without people saying rude things like "This is a meme??! THIS???!!!" all the time. Just saying, the people across the Internet are PEOPLE with feelings! Sometimes cyber bullies(even accidental ones)can be worse on someone's health than rl bullies. It's better safe than sorry, so if you have criticism, make it constructive criticism, and if you have anything to say that might hurt someone's feelings, don't say it. It's that simple. Also, if you don't like it, just stay true to your opinion and don't try to hurt others for having a different one ;) Creators and viewers of the coding memes on Scratch, I see that you are already doing this, but if someone tells you your meme is not a meme, or whatever things people say about them, just ignore them. Don't have an argument about it, that just wastes time. Don't report them, that's ridiculous! Reporting them is pretty much banning them from having their own opinions on Scratch, as I said above. Just ignore them. - - - Thanks for reading all of this! I just wanted to let my own opinions be clear. X3
