W or Up fires your engines, A or Left and D or Right rotate your ship, S or Down slows your ship down, and SPACE fires your weapons (which have a bit of kick) Dodge and shoot asteroids. Big rocks will break up into smaller ones. As your score goes up, more rocks spawn. Try to beat the cloud high score. Also note that if you go off one side of the screen, you come back on the other. Still, the sides can be a little glitchy with the asteroids, so I'd still try to stay away from the edges.
Three years ago, I made a game misspelled ASTROIDS. It was an enormous hunk of crap. I felt bad. So I made this. I feel better now.
