'Papiko? PAPIKO, WAKE UP! YOUR CROWNING CEREMONY !' Papiko groaned. For a second, he was expecting to wake up to his usual breakfeast in bed and pampering. 'um... hello? crowning ceremony?... WAKE UP" He felt a sharp shove is his stomach. On his feet now, he looked at his sister; Kame. Suddenly remembering what day it was, he yelped and got to his feet. Without grooming himself or say goodmorning, he teleported to the dining room, grabbed a slice of toast and ran at full speed to the crowning room. ' I'm going to be the king of the land, and I cant even wake up at the right time! Ugh, Papiko, your and idiot!' Slapping him self in the face, he couldn't help notice but the other animals were giving him jugemental glares. His ears slightly burned in shame. He soon got to the crowning room. Stepping into the regal room, his father looked at him with cold eyes. 'Your late." His voice boomed. Flattening his ears, he managed to bow and squeak out a, "Ah-erm I-um.... It was nececary for survival." Another icy glare. Papiko heard a snicker from a maid. ' Enough. Come forward, Prince Papiko." Papiko straighted his posture and tried to look fancy as he marched up to his father. "Papiko, from this day forward, do you promise to over look this wonderful kingdom?" Papiko nodded. "Then I thereby crown you as the new King of-" The king stopped his speech. He looked like he was choking. "dad..?' The king collapsed to the floor. His eyes rolled to the back of his head. Papiko was shoved to the side while healers crowded around him. "DAD!' He yelled from the mob of other animals. _______________________________________________________ "your father... is dead." The cold words sliced through his gut like a knife. " This kingdom is gone too, Papiko. It's up to you now, find out who did this to your father." Papiko felt tears stinging his eyes. He then teleported out of the kingdom. Looking from a nearby hill, he could see his castle. "i will find who did this to you, dad. I promise."
