This is My Harry Potter Draw Game, hence the WAND sprite :) SO the Purpose of this game, is to draw using the arrow key and what the "wand" draws, Sneaky Snape (the second line) mimics. The Arrow Keys move both pens simultaneously. To change the colour and pen size, use number keys from 1-8. since snape mimics the spell which harry uses, the sounds which the spells produce are identical, however sometimes the colours produces and line width are difference as Snape has perfected these spells whilst harry hasn't, so he often makes mistakes whilst performing them. *Screenshot your abstract creations and upload them :) -T.R
1. For this assignment, I tested a variety of step sizes for the pen ranging from 1-15, to see which would suit the purpose of my game best. I finally settled on 2 as I needed the movement to be slow, but not too slow. Throughout the sketch, I have implemented a variety of width sizes for the pen ranging from thin to thick. The also symbolize the POWER of the spell which harry has "supposedly" used. The thicker the line, the more powerful the spell. 2. I've added different sound to represent the spell which he's used. There is only one sound used as Snap is "silently" mimicking harry throughout the course of this game. Every time you press a number key from 1-8 a sound such as a meow, or instrumental plays and the colour and line width(sometimes) changes as well. I've even added a sound and different backdrop for when the game resets(green flag), to give it the effect that a PROFESSIONAL game has. It is my favourite part of the sketch. 3. I've added a variety of different colours to my game. I decided to stay away from black and white as I find them quite boring colours to use, and went for more neon and bold colours so both lines stand out. 4. I have implemented 2 simultaneous pens as asked, and they both use the same controls. Overall, this assignment was my first few steps into creating a drawing game, and it was very difficult at first as i couldn't get the program to WORK! I then realized i HAD to add a sprite, such as a dot or a WAND ;) to get it to work, and that is what I did. Overall, I was successful in creating a drawing program, as specified in the challenge. I have learnt a lot about scratch from this assignment. -Tanzeela
