My Kindergarten student completed this project with my assistance. She drew the flower herself and added the sound. I helped her with the glide block. After a few more projects, I know she'll be able to do it all on her own! We worked on this project after I read the book "Waiting for Wings" by Lois Ehlert. We also listened to the story of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle and read facts about what butterflies and caterpillars eat.
