Today I'mm on a mission to find the lobelia plant which is our substrate and take it to the medicine generator a.k.a. the activation site which is in the Medicine Factory or in other words the enzyme. And deliver it to poor Princess Peach who is sick with the flu. But the thing is I have limited time to do this mission. I have to be there before Bowser gets there. You see if he gets there before I do then he will release the poisonous mushroom which is the noncompetive inhibitor, which can destroy the active site, since the noncompetive inhibitor binds to the enzyme away from the active site, altering the comformation of the enzyme so that its active site is no longer functioning. Now its time for me to find the lobelia plant YES! I have found the lobelia plant. The lobelia plant in this case is the substrate. A substrate is the reactant an enzyme acts on.
