Welcome to a world where you manipulate the world around you. Focus. is a highly interactive puzzle based platformer where the level is constantly moving. WASD to move, arrow keys control the focal point. You can drag it with the mouse, but I like arrow keys better. Make your choice. You won't fall off slopes of around 15 degrees because of this fancy thing called static friction :D wow, I mean, who knew? Unfortunately it is a little glitchy when the platforms rotate while you are on them. I have a solution, but it involves some intense calculus and I already have enough homework in that class as is :P Some Ideas for future level design: #- Giving the focal point areas it cannot move through I.E. a secondary set of walls. #- The ability to catapult by swinging platforms. Probably only off certain catapult-enabled platforms. #- Portals. Just because they are awesome. I'd have them rotate with the platforms #- Maybe a scrolling engine. Actually yeah a scrolling engine that sounds awesome. #- Free-body objects. Like blocks that you have to get on top of a switch before you can complete the level, that slide just like the player. #- Maybe different gravities. I'd just rip the engine off Falling Up 2 and slap it on here. With some optimization for the new flash player.
Modified [Heavily] engine by Kyleymeister. Thanks :D And the team at Valve. Portal kind of inspired this :)
