~City Life~ You are an inexperienced person trying to make your way in the world amidst a city with danger and hardship. Although, your hopeful dream is to rise to victory in a sports car and a mansion in the state of a millionaire. Unfortunately, your only jobs are a minimum-wage hair cuttery and coffee shop. The added fact that you have trouble with your friends makes it harder to make your way in the world. Can you do it? ~Instructions~ -Press green flag twice. -You are the character in blue in the left hand corner of the screen. - Use arrow keys to move -Run in to the blue lines in front of buildings that roughly resemble doors to enter. -Click on objects to interact (ex. cars, people, food. Most all objects will respond when clicked). -To earn money enter either the "Clips" or the "Coffee" shops. -While inside either Clips or Coffee, press the computer (On the counter behind the seats) or cash register (On the counter behind the people) to introduce customers and earn money (in Clips, click on the customers and press the indicated key once or twice to serve them, in Coffee, when presented an order, click on the coffee machine labeled "Coffee" to make the order). -To spend the earned money, enter either "Store" and click the food or your house and use the computer's shop. -In your house, both the TV, refrigerator, and computer are fully operational, click to use. A video game can also be bought in "Store," it appears automatically in your house after you buy. -The triangle in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen can be clicked to view money and hunger. Note no. 1: food immediately restores health, but the items in "Store" also appear in your fridge for later use. Note no. 2: Chalkboard in the school can be operated via Prof. Jones's instructions. Note No. 3: the school is mostly extra and nonessential to the hidden storyline, but nonetheless, it still contains a lot of interesting features. Note No. 4 (ESSENTIAL): This is an RPG so you can do anything as in real life: climb on tables and drive your cars on roofs. But as in real life that is not suggested. There is also a goal and the world does change as a result of your actions. But there is also an underlying story everyone's talking about. The Masked Man. See if you can uncover the mystery!
--ESSENTIAL NOTE-- I spent 3 years on this. It would really gratify all my work if you suggested it to be featured. Here is the link for the official studio: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/4228481/projects/ 'Pologize if this takes a while to load, there is a lot to do here. Most coding by me, some by my brother. Thank you greatly first to my talented brother, Pepcow, who drew all the graphics. Additional thanks to: -Griffpatch for the hunger sprite -Toca Boca for buying and eating noises. -Brick City for car noises. - Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the background music. -Apple for the alarm noise. I honestly do not care if you advertise, people... Notice: if you talk to the man in the green shirt outside you get a surprise
