Welcome to SimCity: Scratch Edition! *take 2* Welcome to Forges: Kingdom Simulator! When I add an update, I'll typically add something relating to it in the thumbnail (ex. the hills and increased background size for the 180 plot update) Do you lag on this game? If so, play in windowed mode and toggle off snow and seasonal overlays in the settings menu (the wrench icon). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- INSTRUCTIONS --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- First you will choose the size of your kingdom. You can choose from: Tiny: 56 plots, 12 civilians Small: 72 plots, 16 civilians Medium: 90 plots, 20 civilians Large (recommended): 180 plots, 25 civilians Mega (very bug-filled and laggy, this mode is probably a joke): 800 plots, 35 civilians Click on empty plots and type in the building you want to build. No caps, but remember to include spaces! For example, to build a potato farm, click on an empty plot and type in 'potato farm'. Press Q to close the research or town hall menus. You can click on a military unit and click where you want to move it. You can also click on one and press C to directly control with WASD. You will lose if your population hits 0, your money goes below -$1,000, or you stay in debt for too long. Currently, the max amount of money you can have at one time is $10,000,000,000,000,000 (10 quadrillion) and the max amount of research points you can have is 1,000,000 (1 million). The maximum population is not strict and will just stop spawning people when it is hit or exceeded. Life expectancy is on average how long your people will live in seconds. Employed people live around 9 times longer, e.x. with base life expectancy, workers live an extra 491 seconds. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Buildings: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Town Hall ($2500): Used to establish upgrades and create special structures. Tech: Increases research gain from scientists, labs and libraries. Economy: Increases fund gain from miners and mines by 20%/level. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fun Facts: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - In this game, 1 in-game day lasts 1.014 real-life seconds. Each year is 365 days, thus meaning each year is 370.11 real-life seconds (about 6 minutes and 5 seconds IRL), and each month is 30.42 seconds. You're gonna be playing this game for a while. - There are dozens of randomized variables in this game. You'll never do the same playthrough twice. Unless, of course, you have the time (and patience for that matter) to roll another run with all of the same randomized numbers. The chance of that though, is around 1 in billions. - I work on this game in my spare time in school. If I wasn't able to do that, this game would have less frequent and significantly smaller updates.
