I haven't done easy mode yet, sooooo you'll have to cope with Hard mode for now (the 'Easy' option just does Hard mode). Sorry. - You can choose to play the game in No Velocity movement mode, but don't. (Well, you can do it if you want, but it's harder that way, and it's weirder. I just put it in the game because I could). - The tutorial also isn't done yet. BUT, I put it in. Just for you. Merry Christmas. - In the story bit at the start (and at any other times when the orange text comes up) you just have to press space to continue. I forgot to actually write that bit out on the screen, but that's what you have to do. -To start the game, jump on one of the two 'Easy' and 'Hard' blocks, then jump into the green square that appears. - Enjoy the game! Yep, that's important too. // Description // This is a game. // Better Description // This is a platformer I made because I love Scratch platformers, and I wanted to make one of my own. It basically (ha, that was an unintentional pun) centres around how, when you play platformers on Scratch, a lot of stuff in them is the same from one to another. There's also plenty of differences, of course, but some things just don't change. For instance, Red is always bad. It's just a rule. We don't question it. It's lava, right? It kills you. Obviously. Some things, like red being bad, are just the basics of how platformers work. And that's why this is called The Basic Platformer. It's because it's all about the basics of platformers. But then I had fun with it, so it's more than that. // Disclaimer // Here's a couple things I want you to know: - I love Scratch platformers - Red (the character with the red text in the game) is rude. He's meant to be that way. And this means: I'm really sorry if this game comes across as rude towards other platformers, I don't mean it that way. // Ending Comment // That's my part done, now it's up to you to play the game.
