DISCLAIMER: I did not use paint or speed for this rendering. I have decided that I will start a studio for these when I have shared ten of them. This is #7!
Holla th're and welcometh to yet anoth'r speedpaint. This one is slightly m'rbid, but I am sure thee can becometh ov'r it. (https://lingojam.com/englishtoshakespearean) The character in this speedpaint is from my favorite book series, Lockwood & Co. by Jonathan Stroud. The skull is a very grisly yet funny character and he is always suggesting quicker solutions to problems (they usually consist of violently eradicating whatever stands in your path). The music is Chains On Me by The Smile Away Reformatory Glee Club (Featuring Dan Povenmire) I chose this song because in the Lockwood and Co. universe, iron chains contain ghosts. Also, I imagined that the skull felt that whenever his macabre proposals were shot down by Lucy, the main character, he felt like his creativity was being stifled. The intro is a lot better than what I usually do, and I'm pretty proud of it. The animation is supposed to be me trapped in a ghost-jar, breaking out, and then attacking. It also helped me practice my scary animation skills, which will come in handy for one of my upcoming projects... Unfortunately, the actual speedpaint is not my best because the reference picture is photorealistic, something that I can't yet replicate on Scratch. ""Hey, this is exciting," the skull's voice whispered in my ear. "I'm so enjoying this night out. Now I get to see you all killed. We must do this more often."" I am secretly a pomegranate. ~Milkshake-Man-V
