I feel this concept could have a little more than just character joining to take on the one who always controls them. Just like in AvA, the animation just like the animator can use the tools to their advantage such as drawing sprites to aid them like drawing a cannon or a sword or use the scripts on themselves, for example Twink putting on party music. But the animator still has all the power... How do you get the scripts as an image? Prt Sc it, save it (by either putting it on something like ms paint or just saving it) then put it on Scratch, get rid of the background, save it again and there you go.
*wat? something to break up the Atbthtaps?! yay!* Whoa! Where did Twink come from? Playing party music? Just because the animator is afk that doesn't mean he can't hear random party music (unless that said animator was wearing head phones and left them in his computer.)
