This is a reason why the Dream Machine in Super Mario U.S.A.doesn't make bombs. In Japan, this game was known as Super Mario Bros USA, and this game wasn't a Mario game. It was actually a remix of the game Yume Koujou: Doki Doki Panic ( Dream Factory: Heart Pumping Panic or something like that when translated into english.) This game was the substitute for Super Mario Bros. : The Lost Levels, which only came out in Japan. However, in Japan, both games (Super Mario U.S.A. and Super Mario Bros.: the lost levels, known as Super Mario Bros. 2: FOR SUPER PLAYERS in Japan.) came out, Super Mario USA during the SNES era, and Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels right after Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels were also playable in Super Mario Bros Deluxe. Years later, on the GBA, a remix for Super Mario USA came out on Super Mario Advance, featuring new items, enemies, and right after you beat the game, it lets you play the hidden Yoshi Challenge, which consists of finding 2 Yoshi eggs in each level, which makes 40 Yoshi eggs, Which I also just beat the Yoshi egg challenge earlier this year.
