This has gone through many different unshared stages. These are, as follows: - Alpha 0.01: Complete redesign of original base. Created own, custom engine that was made in mind of custom consoles. Issues: - Scrolling issues due to Scratch glitches - 4-way control issues. Buggy costume under circumstances. - Sensor issues. Glitching. - Diagonal disabling failures. - Alpha 0.02 Mainly fixes, and new mechanics. Changes made to, once fully loaded, dramatically increase speed in the future. - Reliable scrolling fix - Temporary costume fix - Sensors fixed - Major variable cleanup - Script compacting in reliable and logical sense. Less lag from here. Issues: - Basic sprites - Issues with borders - Alpha 0.05 Main fix, nearly ready for development and overhaul of sprites. This fixed diagonals massively and meant the game was playable. - Script simplification - Variables kept to minimum Issues: - Needs script clean up - Lag building on player, needs to be fixed - Alpha 0.1 Rejoice! Engine is nearly done, at last. Bouncing from edges has been replaced with stopping at edges, which looks better. On- screen clean up and testing done. Slightly buggy, although playable. Speed of player has been reduced to add to the experience and to make the sensors catch up easier for precision of movement. - Edge experience enhanced and rethought - Code and variable clean-up - Engine nearing completion - Realism improved - Sensor sprites remade for accuracy and balance between movement and precision found Issues: - Glitches found with sensing - Scratch general issues - Balance needing to be revised... a little - Alpha 0.11 Land expansion, getting ready for release. - Major land expansion - Preparations for switching scroll method Issues: - (same as in alpha 0.1) - Alpha 0.15 Scrolling nearly ready to be recreated. Pause function added. Slowly adding features such as it being possible to enter houses. - Pause button added, triggers variables. - Movement arguments changed. Issues: - Pause button laggy - Scratch issues - Alpha 0.16 Pause button fixed with temporary sprite. Most of the lag fixed, while a few bugs in original code to move in only one direction of four at once were found and fixed. Sound added, although it's yet to grow on me. Sound fade added. - Sound addition with transition on pause - Pause button fully functional - Movement finally fixed - Lag clean up Issues: - Temporary sprites - Sound is low quality - No good starting screen - Alpha 0.2 It's here so soon! This brings a starting screen which has a smooth transition. Temporary textures being fixed from this point on - yay! - Pause bug fixed, fade in and out added - Start screen added Issues: - Same..? - Alpha 0.3 Scratch decided to break my game, so work has been done to add my own, home-made logo as well as fixing layering that seems to ruin everything.
