Full Screen recommended. Oh look, an original tag thing-a-ma-jig! The purpose of this was to draw my desk. I have lots of little things on my desk and beside it that I'd like to talk about, just for fun. I thought other Scratchers might want to talk about their own desks, if they have one, so I thought it could be a good idea for a tag. If you don't have a desk, you don't have to do this - or you can, maybe talking about another area you keep little knick-knacks, like a bookshelf. Any small-ish area that is densely populated with figurines or pencils works. :D Each number corresponds to a part of my desk. If you want to go see the original drawing instead, press space. If you want to go back and read along, press the up arrow. 1) My grey desk chair. It's very cozy, as you can tell from the blanket I've thrown upon it. I got that blanket for Valentine's this year, and it's been keeping me warm while I write/use Scratch. It's not colored just for a contrast - i.e. my desk is wildly interesting and fun, while the rest of the world is kind of boring in comparison. (Yes, my desk IS white, though, so I just left it like that.) 2) My Wacom drawing tablet! It's been pretty handy for digital art. It usually sits on the right-hand corner of my desk when not in use. 3) My ear buds, and a hard drive that is much smaller here than in real life. 4) Nigel! Right now he is resting against a waste bin that looks like it came out of a senior center. No offense to my Mom, who found said waste bin and gave it to me. I am much to lazy to empty it - besides, it's only got papers, tags, and note cards in it. 5) I went to this museum where there was a guy who did woodworking, and I got this neato wood shaving that came out in a corkscrew shape. Cool, huh? 6) THE GUARDIANS OF THE ROCK. Once upon a time, my Mom stopped at McDonald's just to get my sister and I some toys from the Happy Meals of the month - My Little Pony. I got a ... ah, incorrectly colored Twilight, but she's still cool nonetheless and I'm still grateful as I know folks who have ALL THE MCDONALD'S PONIES and this is the only one I have. My sister got Coco Pommel, who is now Ms. Pommel for some reason? IDK why? Anyways. I also have this tiny Photo Finish (dA MAGICKS) from my cousin, and this black cat I got from school when I was still in public school. Together, they guard this river rock my Mom was using for ... actually, I forget. Feng Shui stuff or whatever. 7) A clay pot I made in art class. (It looks terrible IRL. Trust me.) It's currently holding a hacky sack from an arcade, a ribbon, various movie tickets, a ticket from my second trip to Universal Studios, an old pass thing from Great Wolf Lodge (aka THE BEST PLACE EVER, FORCE YOUR PARENTS TO TAKE YOU NOW), a rubber band, and two paper clips. 8) Guess. Okay, fine, since it's scribbled, I'll tell you. I was trying to write a song for uke for a project I never finished. I scribbled it on one of those Post-It notes that are kinda big. Beneath it is a note card with the words 'quibble' and 'cavil' and their definitions on it (I liked those words and wanted to remember them), a red sticker from a book that says 'BUY 2 GET A 3RD FREE' (when I found this, I promptly stuck the sticker on my leg and declared that if you buy two Whovians, you can get a 3rd Whovian for FREE! I have a weird sense of humor. xD), and two blue ukulele picks, one that feels brand new and one that feels like its in the middle of its life. 9) Remember when I commented on my profile that I scribbled Melody on a napkin? IN THE MIDDLE OF STEAK N' SHAKE?! Welp, there's Melody on a napkin. I brought the pic home - it was one of the best I've ever done of Melody. She looks perfectly happy and cartoony, which was what I was going for. 10) (Not seen here - various letters, Post-It notes on writing, and the envelope containing my Twenty One Pilots tickets resting between the mason jar and the lamp.) A mason jar containing scissors, pens, pencils, and a brain eraser, none of which I regularly use; a 'desk organizer' thing with compartments and such that happens to hold all of the paper clips that will not fit in my desk. Oh yeah, and my TARDIS pen. That was a Christmas gift from Penguino. She's the best. 11) It's story time again, folks! My Mom gave me this art mannequin a long time ago. I never really found a use for him (well, never mind - that did help me with some early sketches of humans) until I started receiving more and more jewelry as I got older. Here's the thing - I don't wear jewelry very often, if at all, unless it is fandom related. So, I hung them all up on this guy. On his left arm are a variety of bracelets from my elementary school days, one from an ex, and two from aforementioned arcade; his right arm has a time-turner key chain and a bracelet from middle school that says '2 Smart 2 Start Drugs'; around his neck are a Doctor Whooves (Hasbro says it's 'Dr. Hooves' - quit plaguing me with lies, Hasbro!) dog tag, a TARDIS necklace -
11) (con't) a medal from a science fair, and a bracelet from a neighbor. Near his foot is a Post-It of Fred I drew last year, and a Great Wolf Lodge wrist band with a ping-pong ball inside it. (It's a slap bracelet, so I set the ball in the middle. Long story about the ping pong ball.) 12) You can barely see this beauty, but I treasure it so much. It's my Sonic Screwdriver! It makes noises from the show and the bottom of it is an invisible ink pen. 13) (Not seen here - Evolving Dalek Sec.) My Tenth Doctor Funko POP! guarding my Funko TARDIS. 14) Cap. Jack Harkness protecting my desk and both TARDISes from my Funko Weeping Angel. Also - a tiny Dove candy wrapper that says 'Solve arguments with a dance off.' 15) Funko Doctor Whooves, Derpy, and the Eleventh Doctor holding a conversation. 16) My drawing tablets (no, not like my Wacom - these are actual paper) ft. a bag of pens and some more Post-Its. The splotch of red is from a drawing of Josh Dun. xD 17) My phone quietly charging. Whoever guesses what two characters are on my case get virtual cookies! 18) Papers from a class I'm taking. Underneath is the EPIC PILE OF POST-IT NOTES ... and a few hidden writing notes about my book that I'm not sharing with y'all. ;) Ooh, and a Maroon 5 bracelet with quite the history. 19) My computer! It, too, is - wait for it - COVERED IN POST-IT NOTES! xDDDD 20) What I do on my computer. I drew Scratch because that's what I'm usually on, and I scribbled the TOP logo because I'm often listening to music, making projects, or just helping out in The Skeleton Clique studio. Music is 'Snowy' from the Undertale soundtrack. (Belonging to Toby Fox, respectively.) MLP belongs to Hasbro, Doctor Who belongs to the BBC, Scratch belongs to ... MIT, I guess, and TOP belongs to Fueled by Ramen, by technicality. If you want to remix this and draw your own desk (and describe it in less detail) feel free! I don't mind if you use my coding. Just credit me and take out the 'original' part in the title - because, haha, it's my original tag thing, not yours. Also, remember to tag some people at the end! It doesn't matter how many. Ah, I tag ... @Grumpylock @Cloverbunny34 @ToRCHFiRe and anyone else who wants to do this! (If you've read this far, man, you must be tired. xD)
