I own three cats, two of which I adopted from a trusted shelter (My local humane society) and I saved the other as an abandoned kitten. You don't have to own (a) Cat/cats to make a difference! For example, every year I have a huge pool party and invite 20+ people. I ask them each to bring a donation to the humane society instead of gifts. You can also simply leave tuna fish or some other kind of meat outside if you know stray cats live around. And if possible, try to avoid buying pets and pet products from pet stores (Pet Smart, etc.) Because they just breed more and more cats, which, of course, doesn't help the situation. So do your part and help stop cat crue
