Well, I've recently learned that physical therapy hasn't really been doing me any good, so my orthopedist, Dr. Timperlake, has recommended surgery. The date is set for April 18th, 2017. As anyone else who has had surgery would know, I can't eat/drink the day before, and I have to be at the hospital at 6:00AM for a 7:00PM procedure. I'm not exactly scared of surgery, but what could happen while I'm unconscious on the table: maybe there's more to my knee than originally known, and an amputation is needed? (Paranoia and overreaction) Whatever happens, I hope it's for the best. And I hope I'll be able to talk to you guys again soon - physical therapy after the surgery is set at six weeks, so I most likely won't be fully functional until the end of the school year in June.
