Not all Xenarthrans die a graceful death, as can be detested by this massive corpse of a massive, albino bull Megaloglossum that had been bisected by an Icebreaker off the coast of Antarctica in the thick of winter. In life, this male had sired many offspring, swallowed up vast swarms of Krill and seen the colonisation of New Zealand and Antarctica... Now, he is a massive buffet for the likes of primordial stem fish such as the Black hagfish and the Shark relatives known as Rattail fish... A sad fate for such a beautiful and rare Licker.
