Instructions: NAVIGATE THE ROOM WITH THE ARROW KEYS. Keep in mind that if you press up and zoom in on an object, you might still be able to use the arrow keys from there, if there are more objects in the area. PRESS "X" TO OPEN YOUR INVENTORY. Press "1" to switch to the mode where you use objects by themselves. (Ex. tearing a paper.) Press two for using objects with each other. (Ex. Cutting a sandwich with a knife.) When you are using an object with another, just click on it. It should follow your mouse. Then click on the item you will use it with. PICK UP OBJECTS BY CLICKING ON THEM. Not all things are able to be picked up. It takes some searching to find things you can use. If there are a bunch of items on the screen when you start, just click the flag again a couple more times. It's a minor glitch. Story: Faith is collapsing. You are a poor vassal in the time of the black death. The feudal system of government is falling apart. All of the other servants to the lord of the estate are dead, like many others who each day lie rotting in the street. The air is filled with the smoke of their contaminated belongings being burned... You have lived thus far to see the terror. The master knows that there is only a matter of time until you fall ill too, thus spreading the sickness. He must get rid of you. He locks you in the dark, cold attic chamber. What I used: 1. I created the basic 3d atmosphere in Google Sketchup 8.0 2. I took snapshots of the various screens with Jing. 3. I gave it some more dramatic shadows, created the opening screen, and edited some of the ending photos in Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0. 4. The original items in inventory and ending photos (first 3, the last one I drew) are from the internet. 5. The music is a very good piece of Psaltery music I got online. Ask me before taking, it took me a long time to get it! I can't even remember where I got it... I wouldn't have been able to make this without the motivation my Scratch friends have given me by respecting me and giving me support for the two years I've been here. Thanks everyone!
