sorry about this lol idk Here's a random excerpt of a story starring gaybie Asa and his boyfriend Warren set in a boarding school around the 1890s. They were roommates (lol) and in this lil excerpt they're contemplating sneaking out to go awkwardly make out somewhere. Happy pride month! "I want to -do- something, darling," he says in his usual exasperated theater kid voice. Asa sighs and closes his eyes again, matching Warren's dramatics. Dreadfully tired. Warren brushes a lock of Asa's hair behind his ear and the touch of his fingers feels warm and soft, comforting even. The thought of pulling Warren into a kiss, pressing his face against his neck and grabbing a fistful of that orange hair momentarily crosses Asa's mind and he stifles a grin "We could go bathing in the lagoon," suggests Warren, voice dropping to a hoarse whisper in some effort to be mysterious. Asa scrunches his face. Far too cold. "Or we could just take a canoe out, we do not even need to swim," says Warren, seeing Asa's displeasure painted onto his face. This option is only marginally more appealing then the last one. The idea of stealing one of the school's dinky metal boats would only be alluring if it wasn't so cold, and the boats weren't so damaged, and the pond wasn't so choked with algae.
