Click the flag. "'[You are] something that appears to be nothing ... You're everything and nothing all at the same time. Together, you are in a state between something, everything, and nothing, and in a place that is somewhere, everywhere, and nowhere.'" - The best piece of dialogue in my book, seeing as it's not changed through constant edits
This drawing is a few months old, so Ben's hair might change (seriously, I want to take out the hair dye near where his ear would be and replace it with - you guessed it - his ear). Might unshare this later. Sorry for the low quality! I made this project back in April or May or so and wasn't sure when/if I should share it. The very fascinating character with the interesting hair on the right is Ben, whom is the protagonist of the book. While I adore all of my characters in this book and consider it the best of my writing, Ben's very dear to me. He's unlike any character that ever existed - at least, he is to me - in a good way! I'd tell you more of his personality, but I swear I can't say one word about him or any of my characters without spoiling something about them. Yes, the book is that complex. As for the character on the left, I will not confirm or deny his motivations or character archetypes. I WILL tell you he is the one informing Ben of being 'something that appears to be nothing'. I really can't wait till I'm finished with this. It's been hard not to blab about this beautiful book on the internet, since I'm so excited about it. Hopefully this will satisfy any cravings for original content without spoiling anything and giving out the least amount of info possible in multiple paragraphs! xD Art made in Corel Painter Essentials 5 with my Wacom tablet. ALL OUT OF NOTHING ART AND CHARACTERS BELONG TO ME. Please remember that. (Also, sorry for seeming hypocritical by uploading a piece of art that became low-quality due to the bitmap editor - this project is old and I was mostly trying to figure out the coding at the beginning which I now am beginning to overuse (and sorry about the overuse of the fading-in coding!). The only thing that is new is the info and quotes in the instructions and note and credits.)
