Flat Color: - No highlights - No shadows First Shadow - 1st of 2 layers of shadow - Pay attention to light source! Circle Shadow - Circles are used for depth - Don't add too many! - Add where shadows are darkest Highlights - Show light source - Only add where the light hits! 1st Background - Flat color w/ simple shape 2nd Background - Erase around outline of drawing
