Press space to advance! Yeesh, it's about time for another one of these. I've been procrastinating on it a lot, despite having so much art I don't know what to do with it. (There's soooo many pieces that I haven't added here ...) 1) Cover. This is Diogee from Milo Murphy's Law! As the title indicates, you'll see him a lot in this art dump. 2) Trollhunters fan art. [SPOILERS] So, Jim ends up having this dark leveling-up type thing in the finale due to AAARGH!!! 's death, as he thinks it was his fault and wants to stop his friends from coming to the Darklands so they won't get hurt, either. This was my reaction to his new suit, which was in ... well ... emo/Twenty One Pilots colors. 3) DIOGEE! This was the first and most accurate(-ish) one I did. It's a WIP - there's an adorable gag in the show about Diogee liking seals. Seriously. It's adorable. So that's why he's on that circus-stool thing that seals sit on. I was going to add seals, but I haven't gotten around to it. 4) I started drawing and I drew this. Not sure what it is. For some reason I can totally see it being a MAP part for Regina Spektor's Two Birds, probably cause it's black and white and with a red heart. 5) I was listening to Kitchen Sink and came up with this. I'm honestly really proud of it. Ironically, I tried to use colors for the self-titled album in the eye before settling on a blend of all the colors on Sketchpad. 6) I listen to this band that's local to my area. They're purely bluegrass, but they are stunning to listen to. There's this song called Rider that makes me think of creeks in my area, so I sketched this in Sketchpad. It's not exactly done, but I don't think I'll ever finish it. 7) Sketches, ft. Melody, Yin-Yang, Fred, Melody again, a random cat, what was supposed to be Piper, a SkyWing, and epic fail Pinkie Pie and another angry pony, a wolfie, a bird of some sorts, and a gator I'm really proud of. 8) I drew this on Tuesday and Wednesday, I think. I really love the pose, and the little radio DJ's in the background, and the old-timey mic, and the fact that that is a correct ukulele pose, and how you can't tell what year this takes place. 9) Peril! She makes me think of Trixie from MLP in this picture. I guess Trixie makes that face a lot, Peril ... not so much. I mean, you can't even tell what book this is from! xD 10) I took @TurboKitten 's advice (THANK YOU FOR ANSWERING ME! That was super cool seeing my question in your project!) and started practicing hands, paying attention to how people hold things, etc. And then I drew Tyler as a dragon, tattoos and all. (I didn't do his chest tattoos because I thought that might look a little strange on a dragon, but I got his arm tattoos! :D) I drew him as a SkyWing solely out of design choices, not because I think he'd be a SkyWing (he'd be a MudWing, I think, but after the war, and one who found his mom immediately after he hatched and the mom gave in and loved him. :) 11) "I know there's someone at the door/ They called for help, of this I'm sure/ But do I want to say goodbye, to all the glowing eyes?" - Glowing Eyes, TOP (Here's a peek at Out of Nothing. Imagine his head a little smaller and thinner, and there's Ben.) 12) Tyler again! The hands are horrible because I was using one of my felt tip pens, and that was a mistake right off the bat. But at least I drew him with his sunglasses! He looks so sweet! ^-^ 13) Melody reference. This is the current one that came out pretty nice. 14) gUESS WHO -- this is probably my worst because it's more of my style than the show's style. Which, yes, in theory is good, but it came out bad. 15) This one's better, but his little hind legs are too small and incorrect. Overall, he looks like the sweet pea that he is. ^w^ 16) Okay ... here's what that comic I talked about in my last update project would've looked like. I had the idea when I was sick, and I still love the idea, but I just can't draw people the way I picture them. The thing is, I can never picture them perfectly, either - let me explain. Do you have glasses or contacts? When I look at this page with my glasses on (I usually draw myself w/my contacts instead), I can read this text. I can just barely see the tiny 'W-P!' in my icon. When I take them off, I can barely read this at all. My icon itself ia blue blur. The picture to the left is alright, because it's enlarged a good deal. It's like that in my brain. I never know exactly what a character looks like - I know the basics, their hair and eye color, maybe a blurry outline of their clothing, how short or tall they are, but I never see them perfectly (except for once, in a dream - long story). Thus, this comes out in my artwork of my own characters who I've pictured in my head before coming up with them, namely Detector, my characters from Out of Nothing, and all those characters I was drawing for the thingy thing. Anyways, this would be Josh in his 'Alien Dude' outfit. I couldn't draw it very well because I was sick, but I -
accomplished a few things with it. I got so frustrated with the art, but as I was getting better I fell slowly in love with the story ... until I jumped into more and more projects. If I continue this in the future, I would love to have an artist do the art while I do the writing, like a real comic book, and when I feel ready for that, I'm asking my friend @Cloverbunny34 to do the art. Her Clique art is stupendous and is exactly how I think the characters would look in her style, and I bet she'd have a blast with the costumes. (Heya, Clover! If you're interested, feel free to chat about the comic on my profile or in the comments!) 17) SeaWing. In March and February, I had a sudden burst of creativity to draw more WoF, so I drew my OC Algae. The darkened areas are scars, since he was in the war. 18) Melody again! I also became obsessed with trying to do a run cycle at this time, so I was constantly practicing full-body characters. 19) This is the drawing that got me back into drawing WoF again. It was going to be a cat slinking around, but then it turned into Kinkajou acting like herself and Moon being very perplexed by this. It's a bad drawing, but it got me back into WoF! 20) My dragonsona is back! I drew her with headphones dancing. How is she listening to her music through her horns? ... IDK, it's Whovian Logic. 21) (BEST NUMBER ALERT!) I drew Oscar from Odd Squad because he's amazing. 'Nuff said. Milo Murphy's Law is owned by Disney/Disney XD. Trollhunters is owned by Dreamworks/Netflix. Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun are from Twenty One Pilots, whose label is Fueled by Ramen, but still, I don't know how you'd credit a person. The band I was talking about in #6 is called Johnny Statts and the Delivery Boys. Go check 'em out! Wings of Fire is owned by Tui T. Sutherland and Scholastic. MLP is owned by Hasbro. Odd Squad is owned by Sinking Ship Entertainment/Fred Rogers Company. All characters who do not belong to any of the above are mine. All art is mine, drawn with my Wacom tablet on either Sketchpad or Painter Essentials Tool 5, or on sticky notes with pencil or pen. Thanks for hanging in there, guys! Preschool TV pt. 2 may come out today or tomorrow. Turns out I went over the sound limit, so I have to cut out a lot. xDDD Sorry if some of the pictures are off-center! "^^ I tried my best!
