Move your mouse AWAY from the baseball. For every second that goes by, you get 1 point. Whenever you get hit by the baseball, you lose 1 point. Every time you get hit by the baseball or move your mouse pointer off the game area, your 'Knock Outs' increase by 1. If you get 30 Knock Outs or the time reaches 0, the game is over.
