Hi, humuhumu3 here. IGNORE THE FIRST BACKDROP--IT WILL SPOIL THE STORY! This is just a little something I whipped up this week. I was reading a Civil War book, and it inspired me. This story is about two brothers who are on opposite sides of the war. The backstory in the beginning explains it a bit more. I put the thoughts and the stuff that's supposed to be in italics in apostrophes. Sorry if it's hard to read PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GIVE ME FEEDBACK! AND IF YOU LIKE IT TELL OTHER PEOPLE. (I'm trying to send my stories out beyond four people.) WARNING: This is really sad. I suggest keeping tissues or a handkerchief nearby. Also, there is some blood. This is probably not historically accurate. I'm aware that I probably romanticised the story for the sake of story. In reality, the Civil War was very bloody and very tragic, and things like two brothers on opposite sides of the war (especially if they were from states like Virginia, Maryland, or Missouri) was not uncommon. If you want to read more stories about the Civil War, 'Girl in Blue' by Ann Rinaldi is a good one. : )
