Hi. Right here, I'm gonna stick to the bare instructions, but if you want to read the next best thing to my life story, you want the section entitled 'Notes & Credits'. This game is controlled by arrow keys rather than WASD. A rather basic 2D platformer, up is to go up, right is to go right, and left is to go left. The down arrow key has no effect on the game - once the up arrow key is not being pressed any more, gravity will kick in and send you back to earth. Get the gold coin at the end, and avoid red walls or moving enemies. Just to clarify, you are Jet Pac-Man. You move yourself. (In case this is someone's first videogame, dare I even call this a videogame rather than a messy bit of coding.) All the instructions and how to play etc., etc. are explained in the tutorial at the start of the game, after the rather unusual animation intro. I say no more . . . (apart from enjoy)
I am such a minor Scratcher, if you'd even call me a Scratcher, that this is most likely the first project you have seen of mine. If so, please take a quick look at my others, which are mostly ahem-pretty-much-identical-ahem remixes of other projects because I didn't have any of my own material, particularly when I was new. But now . . . I have original material. I hope. I mean, there's several other projects called Jet Pac-Man, but I stand by the true fact that I started to make this before I'd searched up Jet Pac-Man. When I searched it up, there were I think seven projects (at time of searching) called Jet Pac-Man, one of which was Jet Pac-Man 2, but I hope this is original enough to satisfy. Onto the credits now, and thank you of course to Scratch in the first place. Additional thanks and regards to Pac-Man, jet packs, graphics, and the other few people in the team behind the HolyPopcorn accounts, some old primary school friends. And a final thank you to you for reading this and - hopefully - playing. A lot of people say, 'please leave a heart or a star', but I won't, because you probably won't like it much anyway. (But please do.) I admit to the graphics and artwork (which, might I add, is completely original and drawn by yours truly) being pretty basic compared to many respected Scratchers' projects, but I must say, I have finally completed a project and thank you for bothering to read this whole block of rather boring text. Thank you, and enjoy my version of Jet Pac-Man.
