If you don't answer correctly three times, then they leave to wait until your mentor returns. Sometimes, cats may be more impatient and leave earlier. She wants two herbs, because when you mix the two together, you get a remedy for coughing. It is unknown if that mix works for greencough, so it is stated in the game that Blizzardkit has kitten-cough.
