W101- Titan Bloodline: The Return Of Darkness. A w101 RPG story by Legendstar14. Chapter 1: (Untitled). Thousands of years ago the first family of wizards embodies each of the five classes of wizardry and had a lifespan much longer then a humans. Although they were not immortal their slow growing made them appear youthful for a longer period of time until they stopped aging. There was one family, ((Unnamed)) that never crossed genetics with any other wizard bloodline. This family became very large within itself and produced many wizards of the royal family. This family was extremely loyal to tradition. One pair of siblings in the ninety-eighth generation of this bloodline had an eldest son, Ambrose, a second son ten years later called Malistair and years later a daughter, ((Genevieve)). Ambrose followed the families traditions and rules, starting his studies in magic at age three. It was tradition for a wizard to study magic for at least twenty years before they set out on their own path. Malistair was born ten years later. Growing up he often quarreled with his loving, rule abiding, traditional brother. They had been warned from the time they could hold a wand properly to never step foot inside a certain chamber hidden in the royal ancient household. Malistair was an extremely curious boy and wanted to learn everything he could. Despite his intelligence through strict studies Malistair explored the forbidden chamber. The truth was he hated his brother with every fiber of his being. It was all sparked a week ago. He was going to meet with one of his only friends Jasper DayCoin, a life wizard four years older then Malistair. They were both against tradition and wanted their own path of piece. They believed that the beings with darkness inside of them should not be discriminated against. It wasn't the death class, these beings were ancient and very powerful. Their race was unknown in name but both Malistair and Jasper wanted justice for them as they saw some believes of the majority of wizards, especially Malistairs family, twisted and cruel. They would always meat on a Cliffside in secret, but not on that day, Malistair was going to cross over to the other side to meet his friend until he saw his friend falling with a light spell having torn his chest. Ambrose was the only one to be seen in Jaspers place, putting his wand away. The sheer rage at his brother pushed Malistair onward through the chamber. It had been said that one of the first members of their family had gone rogue after creating what the others saw as a 'beast of the highest evil and darkness'. In the wrong hands it had the power to destroy everything in the wizarding world. Malistair wanted power, enough to see that his older brother would see the same fate that he had bestowed on his younger brothers best friend. The darkness here would overpower the others, but Malistair was already shrouded in darkness and hate. The chamber was empty and a dead end but he knew the beast was under the seventh stone tile from the right side of the ending wall. "You have some rebellion in you boy." The beast said in a huge deep rumble. Anyone to hear it would be scared away, everyone except Malistair. "I want power. You will hand yours over to me. All of it." the boy demanded darkly. The beast sneered. "The only one I serve is the one that had enough darkness to defeat me in battle. A complete desire to kill, even those closest to you. A will for chaos!". "Be silent." Malistair ordered and pulled out a large dark staff. The staff of the creator of this beast. He had stolen it just a half an hour before. He gripped it with two hands and held his arms up. "I will make him pay!" he shouted and slammed it on the tile. The beast roared as the tan stone diminished and left him standing in complete blackness. The beast was made of a physical mass of indescribable power and darkness. It was transparent and terrifyingly shaped, its head resembled that of a massive dragon. Nonetheless Malistair stood his ground. "If you even attempt to contain me you will destroy your own mind." The beast warned. The area smelled of thousands of beings this thing had destroyed. "No one was ever able to contain you other then your creator and the one that unjustly sealed you. But I am different then those tradition-following fools who hide behind their own pride. I'm sick of it!" The boy declared. "You think I am just going to give you my power willingly?" the beast snorted. "Oh I know your not, but I also know that you will, willingly or not." The twelve year old boy sneered back and attacked the beast. "You have taken the burden of darkness and so your future offspring and the following generations shall be cursed with my kin. The Curse of the Titans!" ______________________________________________________ One day later Malistair and Ambrose's sister was born. Another tradition was very cruel. Once a female and male were born into the family the mother was sacrificed
by the father to ensure the bloodlines purity. This happened in front of the two brothers. While they both knew it would come Ambrose obeyed like usual despite the laws cruelty. Malistair threw all he had into protest. "No. FATHER YOU CAN'T!" he roared, struggling against his brothers grip the instant he saw his father pull out his wand with a regretful look on his face. The father and mother shared a long look. "Malistair enough!" Ambrose, now at the age of twenty-two said, turning and holding his brother down while he fought back his own tears. "Take care of your younger sister hm? Both of you." their mother said gently, smiling despite her fate. She was over five hundred years old yet had the complexion of forty. "What is her name?" her husband and brother asked in a low voice. "...Genevieve." the mother answered as her youngest roared in protest. "I'm sorry, sister." The father said, swiftly extracting her life force through his wand. "NOOOOO!!!" Malistair roared and flung himself from his brothers grip, aiming straight for his father as the titan staff appeared in his hands. "Malistair no!" Ambrose shouted. "Let your sister choose her own path. Don't fight over that at least." their father smiled. Malistair was taken aback but It was to late as the darkness engulfed his father and disappeared. Malistair put the blame on Ambrose for following their parents orders in not telling his younger brother that they knew of his command over the titans the whole time. Despite all of this he was grateful to his father at least. He loved his sister from the first sight of her. Ambrose and Malistair divided the responsibilities of raising their younger sister equally, under the care of their oldest relative. When Genevieve was age six Malistair would show her the world under their castle. The titan had many offspring, thousands of them. Malistair carried his younger sister on his shoulders. She was like him when it came to their desire to learn. "It's cold here brother Malistair." she spoke and formed a dark purple scarf from her wand and wrapped it around his neck before hugging him around the neck. "Thank you Genevieve." Malistair smiled. He chuckled softly "It could be a tad bit warmer though." he teased. "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm not very experienced with making clothes, that was my first time making a scarf." Genevieve said sadly, oblivious of her brothers joke. Malistair laughed "It's fine Genevieve. This is the warmest scarf I've ever worn.". "But I've never seen you wear any other scarfs!" his little sister protested. "Exactly. I was only teasing you sister, its very comfortable.". "Oh.". Genevieve took the praise and hugged her older brother around the neck while laying her chin on his shoulder. Her smile returned. "What's down there brother?" she asked when Malistair walked to the end of the chamber. "One of my servants. There's an entire world down here and I've built a special place just for you." Malistair told her. "Don't be afraid." he said as he tapped the tile with the titan staff. He had done this any number of times, so much that he didn't even have to count how many tiles away this one was he just knew it by heart now. As the tile vanished they entered the (('First ground')) which was where the ((Black Phantom Titan or High Titan)) lain immobile due to black chains around it made of a substance that malistair had created. ((All I have written so far)).
