I know it's a WRITE to adopt, but he's sooo CUUUTEEE i couldn't resist drawing him. Whelp, here's a bunch of stuff~ ______________________________________________________ Name- Hieroglyph (Hiero) Age (human years)- 14 Gender- Male Relations- Aka (cousin), Sketch (imaginary friend) Likes- Music, writing, drawing, spiders Dislikes- water, history, school ______________________________________________________ Personality- Quiet, self-absorbed, awkward, reclusive. He's a locked box, but that makes him very trustworthy. Though he isn't always honest, he generally doesn't have a whole lot to lie about. Some people might call him "boring". He hasn't too many friends, but if you make it far enough, you'll find he's extremely loyal (even to the point of being clingy). ______________________________________________________ Bio- *deep breath* When he was 6 years old, Hiero was assigned to an imaginary friend (Sketch). At first, the match seemed perfect; Sketch got Hiero into drawing and taught him all kinds of useful things. But as he grew up, Hiero's interests changed. He still loved to doodle, but he also got into writing and music. He started drifting away from his peers to spend more time with Sketch, and soon enough he was an outcast. With no other friends to keep him company, Hiero relied on Sketch for support, even past the usual maturing age of 11. Sketch realized this, and being the genius Division 3 he was, he decided to solve the problem himself by telling Hiero all about DODS and why he couldn't stay around forever. And when you've got one friend and they tell you they cant be your friend any longer, what can you do? Hiero devised a little plan so he could stay with Sketch, and that involved making himself eligible for DODS. You can't join a division for DEAD souls unless you're DEAD, so that's exactly what he had to do. And he did it too well. Once the story had been discovered, Sketch was demoted to Division 4 and Hiero was raised by the other Souls until he was old enough to train for DODS himself. However, by request, Sketch and Hiero still talk occasionally. ______________________________________________________ ~DODS stands for the Division of Dead Souls, which is a group for the no-longer-living, so they have something to do and a way to get a higher social status. Souls must be 10 years or older to be part of DODS, though this is mostly training until the age of 16 when you're considered old enough to be assigned. ~Each DODS member is assigned to a living child. Their job is to protect the kid from harming themselves or others and to keep them company. Most of the living know them as "imaginary friends" because the only one who can see them is the child, making it seem like they aren't real. Once that child has outgrown the company, their work is assessed and, if they prove worthy, they're assigned to a new child and advanced to the next level. If they prove you unworthy, you can be stuck at the same level or even demoted. ~There are three levels of DODS: Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3. Simple enough, right? The newbies start at Division 3, and by the time they're at Division 1, they are practically masters in the art of imaginary friend-ing. If you're at Division 3 and you must be demoted, the only option is Division 4, which is technically not a real division. You don't get assigned and you can't move up; you're just stuck there. ~The symbol pictured above Hiero's name in the project is the symbol for DODS. It's meaningful and stuff ~I'll probably make another project to elaborate on this. ______________________________________________________ Notes: -hey y'all, thanks for reading all of that. It took me a while and I know it's a lot, but thank you so much for showing and interest!! -If I don't get to keep the design, I might redo it and fix the bio onto a different character. Might keep the name, too ______________________________________________________ Songs- "Young Volcanoes" by Fall Out Boy "Hurricane" by Panic! at the Disco "Small Cuts" by The Brobecks WTA host- (BTW you should totally join this WTA, it was really fun and the designs are super cute!)
