⋄ S̲O̲R̲C̲E̲R̲Y̲ ̲A̲N̲D̲ ̲S̲P̲E̲L̲L̲S̲ ̲ ̲ ̲ ̲ ̲ Spellcasting ↴ Some humans/oids are born with the ability (passed down through relatives) to tap into a seemingly infinite source of energy known as magic. By wielding this energy they are able to, in ways, tamper with reality. The most common spells are usually psychic-based, such as telepathy or telekinesis. Other spells are less common as they are harder to master; teleportation, shapeshifting, etc. All sorcerers are able to create simple, physical contraptions out of magical energy; platforms or weapons, for example. All sorcerers have their own unique magic color (ex. Galaxy's magic is turquoise, while Erwin's is purple). Dragonblood magic ↴ Ancient legends tell of a young boy- Erwin Dragonblood- creating a spell so strong its effects still hang over the land to this day. The spells original purpose was to keep Erwin and his best friend- a dragon named Vita- together for the rest of their lives, as dragons have a much longer lifespan than humans. However, he also wanted others to feel such great compassion and loyalty to others, even of a different species, so he cast his spell out. It was powerful but took a toll on him and Erwin died soon after. The Dragonblood spell resulted in two things; when a human/oid and creature (dragons, wyverns, or griffins) have developed a true bond of friendship, they will become spiritually connected; able to speak to each other telepathically, feel each other's pain and lend each other strength. Most notably, it allowed humans to age at the same rate of their companion. The spell also created a form of magic (simply called Dragonblood magic) that appears randomly in humans. Sorcerers of this type cannot learn spells, but possess elemental magic like a dragon. Elemental magic ↴ Elemental magic is the magic most dragons and wyverns possess, usually passed down through genetics and based on their original habitat. This type of magic focuses on the wielder's command over a natural force, such as fire, water, earth, and wind. Other less common elements include crystal, electricity, and tons more. Normally only dragons and wyverns are able to wield this type of magic, however, there is one exception (see: DRAGONBLOOD MAGIC).
