Ash had a mate,Thalia, and a wonderful clan... but one day they went to war. Many wolves died and those who returned were triumphant and happy. ash rushed to his den to tell Thalia everything but when he found her, she was dead. she had got ill and the supplies had run low she had died from starvation! Ash was distraught and ran to the cave where everyone who had ever been a part of the clan was marked down, with a candle. all those alive were still burning those who had died when they were old and there time was up were burnt out. However, those who had died before they were meant to would smoke forever. Ash rushed over to where his candle sat burning and next to it sat Thalia's forever smoking. he vowed never to leave that spot and blamed himself for her death. when people visited him he would tell them to go away, he was not alone because Thalia's soul still visited him...
