Welcome to Earth, friend! You've been sent here by your group as a researcher. Explore Earth and our ways from a totally extraterrestrial perspective! I'll be updating this in the future, so stay tuned for new levels, objects, and achievements! Design Brief (For coding competition) Purpose ~ ~ ~ This game was designed for the player to have fun, and to see the world from a new perspective! Game Development History ~ ~ ~ I started coding "Earth" in mid-April, and reused the typing script from a project I made in November of 2015. The graphics and story took most of the time that I spent working on it, in all honesty. What's Unique? ~ ~ ~ I intended to take a new approach on an "Alien invasion", as most video games involving aliens also involve shooting them with lasers. So our little ball of slime is a researcher, only intending to figure out what's up with earth. Every once in a while, they blink. (wink?) Media ~ ~ ~ I used the scratch bitmap editor to design the graphics (sprites and backdrop) All scripts are mine Music is Pixelland by Kevin MacLeod (from incompetech.com) Dedications ~ ~ ~ I was inspired to create a pixel game by @theChAOTiC, @GrowlingRat, and @Angelwolf12, and I'd like to dedicate this game to my tech teacher, for running coding club and giving me the class time to work on this project. Update: ~ ~ ~ I'm one of 6 finalists in the coding competition!
