Hey. ... I'm back. My last post, was quite evidently, a vent. I raged at the things that I didn't like and stormed out. First, I would like to say, I was selfish. I expected everything to fall to my feet, all happy and jolly. To be truthful, I am very sensitive about the world around me, and when someone decides to go on about how things suck, I tend to pick up on that. I.. am selfish. I lashed out without thinking about others, and just... Snapped. I am truly sorry about that. But to be fair, everything I did say does somewhat apply. But I should've done it in moderation, not just spewing out things. Well, to reflect my last post, why don't I take everything I said bad about scratch and look at it through a diffrent lens. A happier lens. 1] The Community Although there's an popular trend over memes and motion animation, there's a lot of awesome people who really put a lot of effort in what they make. A good portion of the community is nice and supportive, and makes you're day bright, making you smile in their work and in their words. 2] The Program Although doing art straight on the sight is hard, there is an interesting tool called 'vector'. A lot of cool things have been made on this program that makes you think it was made on a professional site. It's amazing, to watch the simple tool make things come to life. 3] Target Audience Sure, a good portion of scratchers consist of immature people, but there are pros and people who know what they're doing that bring a special gift to scratch. It's amazing to see what these people can make, and how the new ones can surprise you the most. 4] Banning Although some of my favorite people have been banned, banning is a helpful tool to get rid of those who are rude, innappropite, and shouldn't be on scratch. If not, scratch would've been overridden by very rude, innapropite, and harmful content that could scar the kids on the site. ........... I'm sorry. I messed up.
