The Thing is a term used to describe all platypuses from Webkinz, regardless of color or gender. These may be called "Googles" and thought of as stuffed animals, they are indeed killing machines who are eager to eat all that comes in their path. Now, this term, "The Thing" came from @MadameHippo when she had no idea what @DocOc12's platypus was. Several students in their school now have their own The Thing. You can buy your own at Dollar Tree or Amazon. Google "webkinz platypus" or "google webkinz". They come in pink, white, and blue.
