_____________________________________________________________ STORY: Honeykit was mischievous, and she liked to follow hunting patrols out, trying to learn how to hunt. When she became an Apprentice, Honeypaw was constantly annoying her young mentor, Minnowclaw, trying to get him to take her hunting. She was not much younger than her Mentor, and fell in love with him. Though she was in love, she became a Warrior, and knew that if she wanted to be the Leader, she could not have kits. When the Deputy died, their current Leader, who was also Honeyfoot's father, named Lionstar, named her Deputy. The Clan was not happy with this, because they thought Lionstar had made a biassed decision. There were many more experienced Warriors than Honeyfoot, so why did Lionstar choose her? But Honeyfoot proved herself time and time again in fierce battle, comforting words, and sweet gestures. Quickly, since he was old, Lionstar retired to the Elder's den, to join his mate, Fallensnow, and young Honeyfoot was thrown into the position of Leader. This position is still new to her, and hard. Lionmane has just died, and Honeystar is without father. She had two kits with Minnowclaw; Gingerkit and Redkit. But Minnowclaw caught a horrible sickness, and the Medicine Cat is afraid he will die.
