this is the first of a series of pictures and music accompanied bu a story. just gonna point out that this (and some others) are / will be sad. so prepare for sad things (some of the next ones might be a bit scary as well). other than that, just sit back, relax, press the green flag and read on! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I don't wanna die the three wolves stood upon the hill, growling. Fall, Magis and Insomnium. Fall was red and flecked with orange, like autumn leaves and had large, chestnut-brown eyes. She wasn't strong, but she was the bravest wolf in all the lands. Stood by Magis, her snow-white friend. He was much more tall and strong than her, and more resembled the winter than autumn. the only body parts of his that weren't white were his paws - inky black with long, sleek, metallic claws. In-front was their worst enemy - Insomnium. Black, tall and thin with an ocean blue eye on the right and a sharp yellow one on the left. His claws were drawn, but it was far from in defense. "Magis, you know what you need to do," Insomnium said in his nails-on-blackboard voice, "Who will it be?You or Fall?" They had been fighting and now he as giving Magis the hardest choice in his life. Death to Fall or death to him. Magis had a mate and three pups. if he were to die, they would surely starve - his mate had her leg ripped off in a fight against a rat. But if Fall were to die, he would never feel the same again, for he would have lost his only friend and fellow adventurer. He would completely go crazy if she were to go. but in this question, he had to weigh life against love. and life seemed to come out on top. he stepped back, tears in his eyes. His life-long partner in crime was about to go to his worst enemy. As tears dribbled down his face, anger suddenly burst into Fall's eyes. "NO! MAGIS! YOU CAN'T LET ME DIE!" she lashed out on him, giving him a long scratch against his neck, reaching all the way up to just below his ear. he shut his eyes and his claws came out. These were the claws that killed things alongside Fall. Now, they would e the ones to kill her. They raised up into the air and came down, into her neck, deep below the fur and skin. She stumbled back and then hit the floor. She was dead.
info about the story: Magis means above in Latin, and Insomnium means nightmare. Magis had actually killed Insomnium's children. That's why Insomnium gave him that question. I almost cried writing this D:
