Ella stumbled backward, accidentally tripping over a large branch. She, laying onto the ground, her arms elevating her chest upward slightly, looked fearfully into the beast’s eyes. It towered over her, mouth open, with saliva along its rows of teeth. The thing sat down with a thump, crushing the pine needles and bark below it. Ella slowly got up, it intentivly looked at her, then it suddenly looked down at its paws, more of talons, and leaped into the air. It rammed into multiple trees while staring at them. It made strange noises that sounded a bit like wailing. Despair spread across the beast’s face. Ella was curious to what was happening to the being, but decided she didn’t truly want to know, for the actions she would have had to find it out, probably weren’t that safe in these conditions. The thing kept charging around like a mad bull, not caring about any of the wounds he got, he only cared about… what he was? It’s tail slashed a tree, making it start to fall… right above Ella. She shut her eyes tight and put her hands out infront of her, in defense. She could only see the insides of her eye lids. Blackness. She stood frozen in place, for a few seconds then dared to open her eyes, the ruckus stopped. She saw before her the beast’s jaws clamped, inches from her face, on the tree. It slowly set it down, never taking it’s eyes off of Ella. It brought up it’s face toward her, sniffing her. She looked it closely for a couple of moments. Suddenly a flash of green appeared on it’s eyes. It looked much of Griffe Noire’s, but it went away a second later.
