Drawn in Colors 3D on the 3ds (explains the low resolution) I started rereading the Guardians of Ga'hoole series for the first time since I was 12 (now 18) Glad to see it holds up relatively well. There's still that slight kiddishness to it, as to be expected, but it's vastly outweighed by how good the story, universe and characters are. Like, seriously. The lore for the series is surprisingly huge. Oh. And it's incredibly dark for what's supposed to be a kids series. There are at least 5 vividly described murders in the first book alone.
