Rainwings are usually born with blue-green scales, but they can change them however they please. Rainwings are known to camouflage with their environment, giving them a large advantage in any sort of combat. Fortunately for the other tribes, Rainwings tend to be more laid back and peaceful than other species. Rainwings can also spit venom from their jaws, which burns through dragon skin and can be fatal. Rainwings like to keep sloths or birds as pets.
Queen Agave (image): The current queen of the rainwings, she is very calm and private. This makes her seem disconnected to the rainwing public except when it comes to one town. Cougo is agave's home town. Despite being royalty, her father insisted on raising his dragonets in the spare town. Many of the townsfolk are close friends, and she still owns a plot of land there that she visits quite regularly. Given her mother and father died in the attack on the mud kingdom during the animus war, Agave never challenged her though she does show talent in hide and seek. Given she has no female relatives, shes on the lookout for someone to be her king (if you want the spot just comment and we can role play a date). Wearing a crown on the spiky crown of the plant she was named after it has yet to be seen if she can win the rainwing populous over. Prince Tiger: Prince Tiger is Queen Agave's brother. He constantly challenges the queen to hide and go seek, shrugging most royal duty. On the bright side, this helps prepare her for any challenges. Most of the time he wears the vibrant oranges and jet blacks of his namesake the tiger. Challenges for the throne: Not using the typical fight to the death manner of the other tribes, the rainwings still have a royal family. The challenger lets the queen select an event to take part in (hide and seek, flower hunting, fruit sorting, bird catching, etc.) and the winner takes the throne. The challenger my only challenge once a year and must be part of the royal family. Sun Hour: Sun hour is the time when all rainwings recharge. Sleeping in the sun is said to keep their scales in their best condition. Many years ago after a raid on the castle during sun hour, an animus enchanted the flower castle to protect all the kingdom during sun hour. No prisoners can escape, no dragon can be injured and no damage can be done in the rain kingdom while they sleep freeing all rainwings to sleep no matter there role. Moods: Red, Black: Angry, Upset Orange: Irritated Gold, Yellow: Excited, Amused Emerald: Displeasure, Annoyance Green: Worried, Displeased, Annoyed Dark Green: Distress Pale Green, Lily Green, Acid Green: Fearful, Terrified Blue: Calm, Curiosity Pale Blue: Worried Indigo: Pride Purple: Confused Dark Purple: Shame, Guilt Pink, Rose: Joy, Happiness, Love, embarrassment White: Pain, Extreme Fear, Sickness, Shock Dark Gray, Blue-Gray: Sorrow, Depressed Flower castle: The flower castle is the home of the rainwing royal family. Built in the tallest tree in the jungle, the view is amazing. Some couples fly up to the branches above the castle to have romantic picnics. The royal family and staff are fine with this so long as it's not sunning hour. On sunning hour all the staff, royalty and other invited dragons gather on the top branches of the castle, while the other citizens of the kingdom gather on lower platforms to lay in the sun and recharge their scales. Even the prisoners are released from their cell woven into the roots of the trees and guided to a special cell that lets them capture the few rays of sun that reach the forest floor. Cougo orchards: The Cougo orchards are where most of the continent's fruit comes from. Excellent sun mixed with the dampness of the rainforest makes the rain kingdom an ideal place to grow plants but the rich soil of the Cougo area makes it more that ideal for plant growth. Farmers who live in the area are often friendly. The community often hosts festivals to get to know the others in their area. The fruit is shipped off to all corners of the continent by current dragons often frozen in the frost breath of an icewing to keep it fresh.
