use turbo mode (shift click the flag). click the flag to go back in time. press any key to wake up. wasd or arrow keys to move. space to pick up items or to walk through passages or doors, or to otherwise interact with the world. Destroy the time machine, get out alive.
Is slightly dark of a story. Maybe. Past attempts affect future attempts only in certain ways. You don't keep your items. Explore the place. There are things you need that are everywhere. Also, wait around. things will happen. They will happen every time, at the same time. If you enter the room with the machine, the comments you make give insight on how to continue. Following guards around might also give hints. You have plenty of time to do anything you need to do, however the game takes no fewer than 5 attempts at the very minimum.
