Seawings are a species of dragon that typically have blue or green scales, and glowing scales scattered about their body. The glowing scales can light up whenever the user chooses, and there's even an entire language that can be spoken by lighting up the scales in certain patterns. Seawings have gills and lungs, meaning they can breathe on land and underwater. They can live both underwater and above water.
Queen Manatee(image): After the war killed both the queen and her only successor the elderly Manatee was the sea kingdom's only heir. Manatee was never the type to challenge the throne and thus had entered old age with her husband Urchin. Dispite being old and suborn, shes not stupid. She now focuses her main effort on taking care of the past queen's dragonets seeing as she is too old to have any of her own. King Urchin: King Urchin has been happily married to Manatee for many years. Becoming king was a surprise to him. He didn't marry her for her royal blood or good looks but her stunning personality. They still find time to sped as a couple even as king and queen. The Egg: This egg is the last egg of the past seawing queen. All the other royal dragons are male or to old to have dragonets so the last hope of the sea kingdom lies beneath its thin shell. All such there is one guard on it at all times. King Spray: Prince King is skitsh and not all as reckless as his brother. He was pen pals with the nightwing queen. After meeting on a royal visit the he and Moonteller became friends. They kept in touch untill and discovered they are both book worms. When the queen lets him, he goes to visit her under the cover of going to find a scroll and they share stores and play bored games. On a particularly stressful visit to the nightwing kingdom he proposed to Moonteller and became the king of the nightwings without the approval of Queen Manatee. He has yet to return to the sea kingdom since. Rings of the Sea: The life work of a peaceful animus, over 100 rings of the sea exist. They grant the power to breath and communicate under water. When a dragon trys to speak under water there scales will flash in actica and when they see another dragon flashing back they will hear it as speech until they take the ring off. Order to get one a dragon must send an application to the queen, listing why they need it, how long they need it or tap into the many that have fallen into the black market. The Edge: The Edge is where the sea kingdom ends and the wilds of the sea begin. A sharp drop of marks the beginning of an odd but beautiful would. Masses of glowing jellyfish are the only light in the dark depths. Few dragons live out here and the ones that do are normally outcasts or exiled from the sea kingdom. Few venture out beyond this point seeing as its ruled by colossal squids that if angered can kill a dragon. Sea castle: The Sea castle is one of the great marvels of the dragon world, which makes it a shame that only seawings can visit it. The elegant castle has a near infinite number of rooms. Dark winding tunnels that would be terrifying for any other breed of dragons are great for the seawing who can see in complete darkness. The walls are studded with pearls and shells. Ornate swirl patterns are carved into the walls, copying the swirl of the royal family. The army of dragons it took to build it lives across the bridge, not far from the castle so they may admire the work of their ancestors. The Stone Island: The above water home of the seawings, it is enchanted. The lighthouse is linked to 10 bracelets. When the lighthouse glows they do as well. Using this the seawing military can use it to send messages to their most important commanders as well as the queen herself. Being a largely military island this is useful. The island was given its name because of its origin. The Stone Island is mostly dragon made, giving it a gray apprentice. Its many inhabitants have tried to grow plants on it in the past with no success. Its also home to The Iron Keep, the above water home of the seawing royal family. Lacking much of the fine art of the sea palace, it's mostly used to house important guests, royalty from across the continent have stayed in its many rooms.
