Setting: Crisis City (2 years after previous story) *The 4 of the group met female survivors a year earlier while Carter was out scouting for more resources. When they came back a year later with the ladies, Carter was met with great confusion* Carter: So, these your new, I don't know, female companions or something? Rylan: Yep. Carter, meet Florence, Leann, and Ruby. Ruby: Hey, you never told us about another survivor. Leann: Yeah, but he looks very handsome. Cobalt: D: Hey, I'm handsome too! Carter: *Under his breath* Yeah, handsome as a worthog, Al Capone. Cobalt: *Glares at Carter* I heard that! Florence: So, what is his story? Venice: Well, uh, you know, I-- Carter, tell them. Carter: Wait, what? No way, Jose! Venice: Oh, come on! Please! *Puppy eyes* Carter: All right, fine. But then you'll have to kiss Florence. Venice: What?! *Blushes hard* Oh, all right! Carter: Ladies, watch and learn. *Reconfigures his outer armor to reveal a robotic exoskeleton* Ruby: Okay, now I COMPLETY do not trust you, nerfherder! *Moves in to punch Carter* Carter: I have a name, and it's Lionheart. *Grabs Ruby's arm, tosses her in the air, and brings her to the ground* Wanna go again? *Smirks* Ruby: *Weakly: No, that's fine. *Gets up* I trust you now. Carter: Okay. *Smirks at Venice* Now it's your turn for the deal. Venice: Only if Florence wants to. Florence: Come here, soldier! *Full out French kisses Venice* Venice: *Blushes, then pulls away* Wow, you sure know how to kiss. Topaz: Venice's got a crush! *Laughs* Venice: No I don't! *Feels hot with embarrassment and anger* Carter: Sure, you do! *Sings* Venice and Florence, sitting in a tree! K-I-S-S-I-N--! Venice: That's it! *Punches Carter directly in the groin* Carter: Oof! *Lands on the ground, holding his pelvic area* Ow. *Weakly* How, were you able to do that without hurting yourself? Venice: Through the magic of endurance, my friend. *Walks behind wall, then, when no one's looking, holds his hand in pain* OW. *When his pain is gone, he walks back over to the group* Carter: You were hiding your pain, weren't you? Venice: Yes. *Shamed look* Florence: Hey, it's okay, Venice. *Kisses him again* Carter: Ah, young love. *Thinks* Love: A sign of insignificant affection for one another.
