THE FORGOTTENS The Forgottens are a civilization taking up the eastern side of the lake. Their city and the villages within it reside underground, built into the side of a ravine, however, the Kingdom's knowledge of the Forgottens is limited to their aboveground village. The Forgottens is led by a female ruler called The Highness (referred to as My Highness or mistress). Unlike the Kingdom, the Forgottens are more military-based, with Her second-in-commands being the general and colonel and hundreds of willing soldiers at Her claw-tips. The Highborn Wing ↠ The Highborn Wing is the most well-guarded section of the underground city, built in the heart of a spiderweb of connecting tunnels. This is where the Highness' stronghold is located along with a scattering of luxurious houses for relatives, close friends, and members of council or military leaders. It is heavily decorated with gardens and various flora. The Homing Wing ↠ The Homing Wing is the largest section of the caverns, where the suburbs are located. The Military Wing ↠ The Military Wing is the second largest wing, isolated and heavily guarded further down the canyon. This is where military planning and training takes place, as well as where young soldiers stay during their time training. The Social Wing ↠ The Social Wing is located directly next to the Homing Wing, and is where the plaza is located. Markets, small homemade businesses, and schools can be found here. The aboveground village ↠ The aboveground village, also referred to as the "sun-drenched" village, is a small portion of the Forgottens found near the lip of the ravine they reside in. It mostly consists of small shops, but there is a small area of suburbs branching off and some cats opt to build farms and produce to distribute to the rest of the city. This section of the Forgottens was recently destroyed by Isaac's cats, burned to the ground. Survivors are still being searched for, and many cats are left homeless. Unique occupations ↠ General the general is the leader of the army; they issue orders and oversee the progress of young soldiers-to-be. They are also second-in-command to the Highness, often looked to for advice (this role is unavailable) ↠ Colonel the colonel is second-in-command to the general (this role is unavailable) ↠ Soldier cats who are trained to provide and protect the Forgottens; some soldiers are specially enlisted as guards for the Highness Herself ↠ The Highness the female ruler of the Forgottens. When She is enlisted as ruler, she will choose a young cat who She may train as her heir as She grows older. If the Highness doesn't choose an heir before She dies, the general will select a cat they deem fit for the role. (this role is unavailable) ↠ Messengers five specially selected cats who deliver messages to the Kingdom through the neutral underground zone, the Halfway point (see: katana lake; the halfway point). These cats are also trained as spies to observe Kingdom affairs undetected. (this role is unavailable)
