I did a DTA entry and a WTA entry! ^^
credit to @naturedragon for this super-cool DTA! ^^ Name: Mountain Range (Range for short) Age: 32 years Gender: male Breed/race: Half-mortal, Arcanean Main Species: Cat Every Species: Cat Personality: energetic, friendly, bubbly Likes: hiking, swimming, the great outdoors in general Dislikes: being indoors Strengths: has a lot of stamina Flaws: would rather explore and hike for fun than do his job Backstory: Mountain Range is the son of two Catchers, mortals who are employed by the Keepers of the Whisper Mountains to protect it from--and catch--thieves. When Range was told he would follow in their paw-steps, he got really frustrated. He wanted to climb and explore; not hunt criminals all day! But he was employed as a Catcher... and rather liked it, to his great surprise! He got to walk and climb more than he expected, and all his climbing before employment made him in excellent shape to chase after thieves. He's come to enjoy his job, and his partner is the she-cat he has a massive crush on! But will they become more than friends, or will the distance between them always be as large as a mountain range? Story: Range glanced at Sara as they followed the imprints in the grass. She stayed focused on her task, but glanced up at him, and he wondered if she could hear his heart thumping faster than a hummingbird's. "It's a dragon-wolf," she told him. "How can you tell?" Range asked in surprise. She rolled her eyes like she was thinking, 'What a amateur.' "These tracks have a wolf's central pad, but the outer ones are pointed like dragon talons, and the extra dot above each of the toes implies of long, curved claws--aka talons." "I see," Range said, nodding, though he actually didn't. "So, what did they steal again?" Once again Sara's eyes rolled. "Some jewels from a sabertooth lupine den," she said, then added, "and the lupine's head." "Oh, ew," Range gagged. 'What an odd trophy,' he thought to himself. They continued in silence until they reached a fork. One trail went back down the mountain, and the other went up. The Catchers peered closely at both trails, trying to see imprints the thief could've left. Finally Sara nodded at the trail going up. "I see a large talon-sized scar in the dirt," she said, and started walking towards it. Startled out of daydreaming about her admirable skills, Range hurried after her.
