~ AMULETS ~ The amulets are nine different elemental necklaces with their own respectful 'personalities' (explained below). These amulets are all split from the 'echo eye', an extremely large orb that was created by Queen Fiona to win the Falling Age battle. (see 'Island Of Vaihata - History) Each amulet has a respectful set of sins or bad traits that represent them, and also help the amulet find a new user when the previous one dies or becomes too weak to wield the amulet. Fire - Shy, Fearful, Self-hatred - Holder; Blaze @Tigergirl531 Earth - Selfish, Grumpy, Dishonest - Holder; Zig @NightShadedBlood Electric - Petty, Prideful - Holder; Storm @Mimi9911a Wind - Worried, Saddened - Holder; Amulet Yet to be found Spirit - Haunted, Hidden - Holder; Alysa @Mimi9911a Light - Uncaring, Greedy - Holder; Amulet Yet to be found Dark - Strict, Serious, Controlling - Holder; Amulet Yet to be found Plant - Angry, Temperamental - Holder; Amulet Yet to be found Water - Childish, Audacious - Holder; Shadow @Shadowcatcher Each amulet has a sort of entity or spirit inside of them, in which currently have no name. These entities use the amulet as a sort of shell for them, staying inside the amulet and acting as the magical ability the user is able to harness. The more the user practices and gets better at using their magic, the stronger the bond between the amulet and the user. As a bond between a user and their amulet becomes stronger, they powers they wield become stronger, and the amulet becomes harder and harder to break. If an echo has an amulet, the amulet can never leave them until the user is dead or becomes too weak to harness any sort of magic. If the amulet is broken or the user steps too far out of their personality (For example, the earth element selflessly giving himself up, which resulted in his death) the echo wielding the amulet will die, and the entity and amulet will have to find a new user as soon as possible. If the amulet is broken and destroyed, the entity will have to find an echo with powerful magic and spirit as a wielder to regenerate the amulet through pure magic and thought. If one of the entities stays venerable to the world without an amulet for too long, the entity will then die. If one of the entities dies, every entity dies, and the magic that holds the island together will be broken, resulting in the death of many and the destruction of the island for the third time in recorded history. --------------- Amulet FAQ Q: Can I have an amulet? A: Currently, no. Only managers will have permission to receive amulets without going on a mission, otherwise, you will have to go on a scheduled RP mission to even get a chance of receiving an amulet. Q: Can I create an amulet? A: No. The amulets here were created by the echo eye centuries ago, no more amulets can be created. Q: Will the undiscovered amulets ever be found? A: Most likely at some point in the future. Q: If I get an amulet, may I change it afterwards if I don't like it? A: Well, each amulet has it's own personality. That would mean you either have to completey change your character's personality, or make a completely new character specfically for the amulet. I rather no one create a character that perfectly matches the amulet's personality traits simply so they have a better chance of getting one. In short, no, you will not be able to get another amulet if you already have one. I want to give other people the chance to have an amulet.
