~ OTHER ~ ~ Herbs & Plants ~ Dragon blade vines - Dragon blade vines are long, bright orange and red vines that grow around almost any tree on the island. They get their name from their fiery color scheme and the blade-like leaves they grow, in which are called Dragon blade leaves or simply dragon leaves. Dragon leaves are good to be grinded up and used as spices in many recipes, while the vine's only use is decoration. Urabus - The Urabus flower is a massive, mouth-shaped plant that functions the same way as a mouth as well. It's attractive appearance and smell lures in insect and small rodents, the Urabus plant then snapping it's large petals around the creature. The Urabus flower oddly has it's own 'digestive system', where the creature is broken up into pieces through acid and venom, the tiny pieces then being used as food to help the plant grow. Haiser tree (nicknamed the Immortality tree) - These large trees that can grow for decades upon decades have been rumored to grow fruits that make a living creature immortal, though the only currently recorded effect of eating the fruits is getting the flu. However, oddly enough, it's bark is quite tasty for chewing on when you have a sick stomach. ~ MAGIC ~ Types of magic - In this world, magic can range from almost anything. The most common types of magic are elemental magic, example; creating and manipulating fire, the same for wind, water, earth, etc (but not nearly as powerful as the amulet holders). Less common powers include abilities such as; Telepathy, Telekineses, Speaking to wild animals, invisibility, etc, however they can still be used in a REASONABLE fashion. You cannot make your character have telekinesis and the ability to hold or move something 10x the size of them. Powers that are impossible for normal citizens to have include invincibility, immortality, the ability to summon anything into reality (for example, you could have to power to summon items that are nearby or your character owns, however nothing like an unbreakable sword) and more. Using magic - It takes years of practice for a Vaihatian to master their magical skill if they have any, and while some don't, more than half of the population indeed does. It is especially hard to master if the magic is from an amulet or you have a much more uncommon ability. When magic is used, small whisps emit from both the eyes and paws/claws of the user, meaning it will be visible whenever their power is used, unless, of course, that power is invisibility.
